CatDV on OSX 10.9 Mavericks

Question

After installing Mavericks, a message appears telling me that Java or JRE 6  is missing when starting the server or desktop clients.

Answer

Installation of OSX Mavericks uninstalls Java. Follow the instructions presented by the operating system to reinstall Java. CatDV will then start correctly.
